Shake It Off!

October 4, 2011 in Slides by C.R.Harley

Shake off your dust; rise up, sit enthroned, O Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains on your neck, O captive Daughter of Zion., Isaiah 52:2…Rebuke the devil for he has been lying……inaccurately defining…all that you are. In an effort to emotionally scar…the beloved’s psyche and heart. Rip your self esteem completely apart. Leaving women and young girls…chained to the world’s…unrealistic expectations. That exist from nation to nation…false revelations…globally defacing the love of God.

Secular messages…ungodly images…of what a beautiful body is. Demeaning the vessel that God gives…where his spirit resides and lives. And nobody ever ask His…opinion of what true beauty is. We just go on, reshaping the temple of God…to the specifications of man’s heart. As if the Potter had no part…when He molded the clay to the desires of His heart. So don’t let the world chip it away…tell yourself at least once a day…“I love myself in every way”…compliment another person along the way. For you have been fired in a kiln in a Holy way…when you brush off the dust, they’ll see you’re stamped…Hand of God Made.

Shake what your Momma gave Ya…love the fact God made Ya!

Are You A Zombie Lover?

September 8, 2011 in Slides by Editor

I read this quote from T.D.Jakes that really got me thinking about shaking some of my own zombies.

Intercourse brings two into oneness. Be careful what you allow to become one with you. You cannot continue to live in or be filled with the past. It is dead and over; break away from intimate contact it would have on your life. Some things might never get resolved. They are like zombies walking around inside you all your life. Enought is enough! Everything that will not be healed must be forsaken. Really, to forsake it is to forget it. You cannot live in an intertwining embrace with something that God says you are to reckon as dead! Do not yeild your body, your time, or your strength to this phantom lover! Tell that old corpse, “You can touch this!”

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord., Romans 6: 11

–T. D. Jakes
